2. Data We Process
2.1 Data you enter in the app
ReptiTrack is a local-first app. Data is primarily stored on your device:
- reptile profiles (name, species, sex, dates, notes, etc.)
- events and reminders
- health data
- food stock data
- photos
- preferences (for example: language)
- Govee API key (if enabled)
2.2 Technical and diagnostic data
If enabled, Sentry may receive:
- errors and crash reports
- device/app technical information
- navigation metadata
- additional diagnostic data depending on configuration
2.3 Subscription-related data
If you use premium features, RevenueCat may process data required for in-app purchase management (subscription status, technical identifiers, purchase receipts).
2.4 Notifications
If notifications are enabled, the app processes data required to schedule and deliver local notifications (date, time, reminder content).
3. Purposes
Data is processed to:
- provide core reptile tracking features
- save your preferences
- manage reminders
- manage premium subscriptions
- improve app stability through error reporting

6. Data Retention
- ReptiTrack app data: kept locally on your device until deletion/uninstall
- Sentry diagnostic data: according to retention settings configured in the Sentry account
- Subscription data: according to RevenueCat and app store policies
7. International Transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Union and apply their own compliance mechanisms (for example: Standard Contractual Clauses).
8. Your Rights
Under GDPR, you may request: access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability.
